Couple Looking for Green Acres Gets $100,000 worth of Green!!!
Mr. Stephen Beauchamp and Mrs. Pavlina Tomova simply wanted a more peaceful and serene lifestyle. One that included acres and acres of land and a cozy country-style home. A dream that many of us share pining for a more “slow-lane” kind of existence- especially these days.
Well they found their little slice of country paradise, a 13 acre residential home in the middle of Pembroke Ontario. A quiet rural town surrounded by beautiful farm land and open pastures.
Seems like a happy ending right?
Turns out they had purchased their mortgage with Mortgage Alliance of Canada, and used (for the 2nd time) their mortgage agent, Andrew Hildebrandt.
Andrew had simply mentioned that they (Mortgage Alliance) had a special promotion where any one purchasing their mortgage with Mortgage Alliance would automatically be entered in to a $100,000 sweepstakes….and that was the last they thought about it.
UNTIL…they received a phone call from Louie Bettio, Marketing Director of Mortgage Alliance informing them that their names had been selected as the potential grand prize winners. Was it a surprise? Well the savvy Mr. Stephen Beauchamp immediately called his wife and told her the good news! However, the more pragmatic Pavlina cautiously suggested he send Mr. Bettio and email confirming their conversation. Being a wise man, Stephen heeded his wife’s advice and sent Mr. Bettio an email requesting him to confirm what had just transpired.
And to everyone’s surprise Mr. Bettio did just that!…….a now Mr. Stephen Beauchamp and Mrs. Pavlina Tomova are $100,000 richer!
Seems like the pursuit of a quieter lifestyle has been temporarily blasted by the screams of joys coming from their new Green Acres Home.
